Josh MargolisFounder of DAF
A seasoned Energy Professional with almost 19 years’ experience in delivering small to utility scale infrastructure projects with a focus on Renewable Energy. Former Senior Project Manager within Arup’s Renewables team overseeing a Lender’s Technical Advisory (LTA) team taking Renewables (Solar/Wind) projects from bid submission, Financial Close and Commercial Operation, Construction Monitoring and Operations Monitoring. Former Technical Manager in IPP sector developing greenfield projects and leading projects in the C&I space. Has developed and delivered over 3000MW of Renewables projects (Solar, Hydro, Wind Battery Energy Storage) in South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana and UK. Has held leadership roles such as COO of Bonang Power & Energy, Principal for Matt&Co Advisory, Arup Education Trust Trustee, the COO for the SunElex Group and Project Development Lead for TASEZ Gas to Energy Project. She is also a Skills Development Facilitator, Conference Speaker and Moderator.

Nkosinathi Masangu is the Chief Financial Officer at In Pursuit Africa, bringing over a decade of financial expertise across both public and private sector organizations. With a strong background in project accounting, management reporting, and strategic financial planning, Nkosinathi plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization’s pan-African energy initiatives.
His previous experience includes financial roles at R&R and Tharisa, African Rainbow Capital, and Royal Bafokeng Holdings, where he served in capacities ranging from Management Accountant to Finance Consultant.
His leadership combines technical expertise with strategic oversight, ensuring that In Pursuit Africa remains financially agile and aligned with its mission to deliver energy transformation across the continent.
Zandile Natasha Mabena is a skilled Electrical Technician at In Pursuit Renewables, part of the In Pursuit Africa Group. With a focus on light current systems and a strong foundation in electrical engineering, Zandile brings precision, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to every project.
She holds an N6 Certificate in Electrical Engineering from Taletso TVET College and has completed additional training in Solar PV systems, energy efficiency, and auditing. Known for her attention to detail and collaborative mindset, Zandile plays a key role in supporting the delivery of renewable energy solutions across Africa.
Simphiwe Mzizi is a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Officer at In Pursuit Renewables, a subsidiary of the In Pursuit Africa Group. With a background in Transport and Logistics Management, Simphiwe supports the seamless movement of resources and operations across energy projects.
He holds a BTech in Transport Management from the University of Johannesburg and is skilled in supply chain processes, transport coordination, warehousing, and customer service. Simphiwe’s adaptability, reliability, and team-driven approach make him a key contributor to efficient project delivery within the organization.
With a strong foundation in strategic operations and commercial leadership, Nozuko Siyothula brings over a decade of experience in managing high-impact projects across the African continent. As the Commercial and Operations Manager at In Pursuit Africa, Nozuko is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial sustainability, and strategic growth across the organisation’s diverse portfolio.
Her expertise lies in streamlining business processes, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless delivery of client projects from inception to completion. Passionate about innovation and results, Nozuko plays a key role in building partnerships, optimising operational efficiencies, and ensuring the company consistently delivers value to clients across South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and beyond.
